Julien is a composer and musician making exciting new electronic and instrumental music. They have been composing for as long as they can remember. Some of their earliest, fuzziest memories are of improvising and poking around on piano keys that they weren’t even tall enough to see the tops of. While they started their musical journey on the piano, over time they have picked up cello and bass guitar. Learning new instruments and methods of music-making is a passion of theirs, and they’re constantly looking to expand the breadth of their abilities. In early high school they developed a deep love and fascination with classical music, which is what really inspired them to move forward with their compositional career.

Julien has a BM in composition from the Mannes School of Music. They have experience teaching piano, music theory, and composition to a wide range of age groups. They also have developed skills in engraving and audio production with Sibelius and Ableton.
